Report published: Waiting for Hospital Care, Frimley
In the Spring and Summer of 2022 we undertook engagement with to understand the experiences of local people waiting for hospital treatment. We are pleased to share the findings of what Bracknell Forest residents told us.
The four Healthwatch across the Frimley Integrated Care System, in partnership with Healthwatch Surrey developed and undertook a survey (running for 8 weeks early March to late April) to provide insight to enable services to understand the local experience of waiting for hospital treatment, to improve effective communication with those who are waiting, and reduce the potential for harm or deterioration while people are waiting.
We asked things like, what information was available to people while they waited and if they felt supported by their GP and the hospital.
